How much text fits in a QR code here?

About 270 characters at the lowest error correction level and fewer at higher levels. The tool tells you when the text is too long.

Can I make a QR code for Wi-Fi?

Yes. Choose Wi-Fi network, enter the name and password and phones that support it can join by scanning.

Which error correction should I choose?

Medium suits most uses. Choose High if the printed code may get scratched or have a logo placed over it.

Do the QR codes expire?

No. The code stores your text directly. It is not a link through our servers, so it will keep working.

Is my Wi-Fi password sent anywhere?

No. The code is made in your browser. Be careful who you share the printed code with because anyone who scans it can read the password.
