What Sheet2App does

Sheet2App turns a spreadsheet into a small working application without code. Upload an Excel or CSV file, choose the columns you want, set each field type, and use the generated app straight away.

The app has a searchable, sortable table with filters, a form for adding and editing records, and summary cards for numeric columns. It runs entirely in your browser.

How to use Sheet2App

1. Upload a CSV or Excel file (Step 1).
2. Choose which columns to show, their types and which are searchable, watching the live preview (Step 2).
3. Press Generate application to use it (Step 3).
4. Add, edit or delete records and use search and filters.
5. Export the data, or save the configuration file to rebuild the app later.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a real web app builder?

It generates a self-contained data app for one sheet: a table, filters, a form and summaries. It is not a multi-user system; the app lives in your browser.

Where is my data kept?

In your browser tab. It is only stored on your device if you tick “Save on this device”, and you can clear it at any time. Nothing is uploaded.

Can I share the app with my team?

You can export the data and the configuration file and send them. A shared, multi-user version needs a custom build; see our services.

What file types work?

CSV and Excel .xlsx files.

Privacy: your files stay with you

Your files stay on your device. Processing happens in your browser, and your documents are not uploaded to BusyDayKit servers.
